A great stay in a lovely little hotel

The staff is extra friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice enough. The breakfast is better than expected for this sort of a small country hotel and the dinner was great. I recommend the fish soup and the ice cream!

Great ice cream - great helpful staff

Had icecream with family. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Cosy sitting room. Note that the bad reviews you find are old, when there was different management. Now a nice young couple is running the place.

Remote but a great stay

Our room was very comfy and the views vast and beautiful. The meal of Arctic char delicious! Nothing fancy in the meal, but everything was perfectly prepared. Too bad that!

Lovely place to stay

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower was great and the towels were very soft.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Had a wonderful chat with the proprietor, who told me that she just took over this inn in May and she used to go to school here! It was a school until the late 80s.

The best atmosphere out of the 4 hotels we have stayed in so far during our trip around Iceland.
